French Language Training

• At the entry-level French, learners start with essential vocabulary for everyday interactions. This includes common greetings (hello, good evening), introductions (My name is…), numbers (one, two, three), familiar objects (table, chair), and basic expressions (thank you, please).
• Learners can understand and use simple, common phrases to share basic information. This might involve greetings, asking and answering simple questions about themselves (age, nationality), and expressing basic needs (I’m hungry, I’m thirsty).
• Mastering the French alphabet (A to Z) and basic pronunciation rules is expected at this level. Learners should be able to correctly pronounce and identify French sounds and letters.
• Additionally, the introduction of basic grammar structures is covered, such as subject pronouns (I, you, he/she), definite and indefinite articles (the, a/an), and the present tense of regular verbs (-er verbs like speak, eat).

Outcomes : 

• As learners progress to the A2 level, they expand their vocabulary beyond the basics. They learn words and phrases related to everyday situations, activities, and personal interests. This includes topics like hobbies, jobs, family relationships, and descriptions of people and places.
• At this stage, learners can construct more complex sentences and express themselves with greater detail. They can describe their daily routines, past experiences, future plans, likes and dislikes, and provide simple opinions and explanations.
• Learners continue to study verb conjugation, including regular and irregular verbs in the present tense, as well as common irregular verbs in the past tense (such as ‘avoir’, ‘être’, and ‘aller’). They also learn basic patterns for conjugating reflexive verbs.
• Additionally, A2 learners are introduced to more grammar structures and concepts, such as adjectives (including agreement), adverbs of frequency, prepositions of place and time, and other grammatical elements.

Duration: 80 Days

Outcomes : 

• At the B1 level, language learners expand their vocabulary to cover a wider range of topics and contexts. This includes words and phrases related to everyday life, work, hobbies, travel, and social interactions. They also gain more specialized vocabulary within their areas of interest or expertise.
• Learners at this level can construct more complex sentences and express themselves with greater fluency and accuracy. They can recount personal experiences, describe events and scenarios, share opinions, and provide reasons and explanations for their views.
• Additionally, learners continue to study verb tenses, including the present, past, and future, as well as the conditional and subjunctive moods. They learn to use these tenses to talk about past experiences, future plans, hypothetical situations, and polite requests.
• B1 level learners also deepen their understanding of grammar and sentence structure, including more advanced concepts.

Duration: 95 Days

• At the B2 le­vel, language learne­rs gain an extensive vocabulary. This allows the­m to speak fluently and accurately about a wide­ variety of topics. They learn spe­cialized words related to jobs, acade­mic subjects, current eve­nts, and culture.
• These le­arners can easily construct complex se­ntences with sophistication. They use­ different sente­nce structures, including compound sente­nces, complex clauses, and indire­ct speech. This helps the­m express themse­lves precisely and with nuance­.
• Learners at the B2 le­vel have a thorough understanding of ve­rb tenses and moods. They use­ a wide range, from past perfe­ct to future perfect to conditional pe­rfect, to convey various shades of me­aning. They also use the subjunctive­ mood skillfully to express wishes, doubts, and hypothe­ses.
• Furthermore, B2 le­arners demonstrate maste­ry of grammar and syntax. They use grammatical structures corre­ctly and effectively to communicate­ their ideas.

• At the C1 level, learners have an extensive vocabulary that allows them to express themselves fluently and accurately on a wide range of topics. They use specialized words related to different areas like work, academics, arts, and current events.
• C1 learners can easily construct complex sentences using various structures, such as compound and complex sentences, as well as rhetorical devices. They demonstrate a strong grasp of grammar and syntax.
• Learners at the C1 level exhibit mastery of verb usage, including a wide range of tenses, moods, and forms. They use advanced verb constructions like the subjunctive mood, the conditional perfect, and the past conditional to convey subtle nuances of meaning.
• C1 learners also demonstrate a deep understanding of French culture and society.
